The 'Joker' Virus Has Returned to Android: It Can Empty Your Bank Accounts Without You Noticing It and It Is Hidden in These Apps in the Google Play Store

 The Belgian Police warned about the return of the 'Joker' virus , which attacks Android devices and hides itself in various applications on the Google Play Store . This malware is capable of subscribing the user to payment services without their authorization and emptying their bank accounts without them noticing.

"This malicious program has been detected in eight Play Store applications that Google has suppressed," say the Belgian authorities in a statement published this Friday on their website.

Bitcoin comes to UK PayPal - but not for payments.

 PayPal customers in the UK will now be able to use the platform to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency, with investments starting at £1.

But PayPal payments can still not be made in Bitcoin, for example, directly.

Instead, the cryptocurrency will have to be sold for traditional currency and its value then used to make a cash purchase.

PayPal is initially working with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

But the currencies cannot be sent to friends or family or transferred to or from of any other digital wallet.

Entry point

PayPal launched its cryptocurrency service in the US, in October, hoping to make them more accessible to a wider audience.

But they remain volatile in value and unregulated - meaning investments are not protected by the authorities, if something goes wrong

"The tokens and coins have been around for a while but you had to be a relatively sophisticated user to be able to access that," a PayPal spokesman told CNBC.

"Having that on a platform like ours makes a really good entry point."

New Oculus Quest feature can automatically sync VR photos and video clips to your phone

Oculus has begun rolling out a set of new software features for Quest and Quest 2 virtual reality headsets. The v32 update introduces some small, but important tweaks to the in-headset user experience, as well as to the Oculus Move health tracking app. The feature that most piqued my attention is an option to automatically sync saved photos and videos captured within VR to the Oculus mobile app for iOS and Android.

In an earlier update, Oculus let you upload files from a headset through the Browser app within VR, an improvement over the original method of plugging the headset into a PC. But this update goes a step further in removing friction for viewing or sharing content, as it lets you do it without a headset on. To sync items from your headset (running v32 software, of course) to the app for the first time, open up the Files app from your Quest’s app library within the headset, then click the cloud icon that will appear at its top-right corner. It’ll ask you to turn on the syncing feature. Once you’re finished, your clips and pics will be viewable and shareable within the “Devices” pane in the Oculus mobile app.

Oculus has made a few other changes, including the ability to gift apps and games while you have a headset on. Previously (and frustratingly), gifting had to be done by the Oculus app or through a browser, but you can do it all in one place now.

If you like to chat with your Oculus friends while in virtual reality, you’ll soon find these contacts in the “People” tab within Facebook Messenger in VR, not as a separate section. Oculus contacts will be placed in the same list as your Facebook friends, but Oculus says that the friends you made in VR won’t be able to see Facebook activity unless you add them as friends on Facebook, so they remain separate despite how it may appear within the app.

Oculus told The Verge that this will be the new setup for everyone who installs the v32 software, though you can use a filter that can display your Oculus or Facebook friends instead of both.

Lastly, Oculus is making tweaks to its Move fitness platform that can monitor your movements within games to report metrics, much like a fitness tracker does. Instead of only tracking daily goals, Oculus added a new weekly goal metric that lets you select how many days you’re aiming to work out in VR each week. It’s also letting you share Oculus Move workout stats that you’re proud of to your Facebook timeline, groups, or within Messenger.

Interpretation. It means only those enterprises are considered eligible for udyam registration which is either in manufacturing or in the manufacture, processing, or storage of commodities, or in the provision or delivery of services. To put it another way, firms that are primarily engaged in trading, such as buying, selling, importing, and exporting goods, are ineligible to apply for udyam registration.

The union ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises had made the announcement regarding the new process of classification and registration of micro, small and medium enterprises which was launched on the 1st of July, 2020 under the name of ‘udyam registration’ through a notification on 26th of June. The micro, small and medium enterprise ministry launched a new portal for udyam registration www.udyamregistration.gov.in. This portal will assist you in guiding the entrepreneur through the process of learning what they need to know and doing what they need to do. Following the recommendations of the advisory council in this regard, the central government officially notifies certain criteria for classifying enterprises as micro, small, and medium enterprises, as shown in the table above.
5. 5. The above said notification dated 26th of June 2020 suppress all the notifications issued earlier on the following dates: a. Notification no. s.o.1702 (E), dated the 1st of June, 2020, new criteria for classification of micro, small and medium enterprises b. Notification no. s.o. 2052 (E), dated the 30th of June, 2017, mandatory filing of Udyog aadhaar memorandum by all micro, small and medium enterprises. c. Notification no. s.o. 3322(E), dated the 1st of November, 2013, extension of the non-tax benefits to micro, small and medium enterprises for 3 years d. Notification no. s.o. 1722 (E), dated the 5th of October, 2006, the cost of some items are to be excluded while calculating the investment in plant and machinery.
6. 6. Basis of calculation. Investment In-plant & machinery or equipment. 1. The cost of investment in plant, machinery, and equipment will be related to the cost of capital income tax return of the previous years filed under the income tax act of 1961. 2. In the case of a new business with no prior income tax return, the investment will be based on the promoter's self-declaration of the enterprise and such relaxation shall end after the 31st March of the financial year in which it files its first income tax return. 3. The terms "plant and machinery or equipment" and "plant and machinery or equipment of the enterprise" should have the same meaning as assigned to the plant and machinery in the income tax rules, of 1962 framed under the income tax act of 1961 and shall include all tangible assets other than land and building, furniture and fittings. The turnover related figures of such enterprises which do not have permanent account numbers will be considered on a self-declaration basis for a period up to 31st of March, 2021, and thereafter, permanent account number and goods services tax identification number shall be mandatory.
