A fully-loaded 33,000-litre fuel tanker exploded on Otedola Bridge 
along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, killing many people and razing about 67 
vehicles it was really a black Thursday.
the picture showed vehicles ablaze and thick black smoke billowing across a wide stretch of road. 
  Eye witness said the accident was caused by brake failure while the driver was trying to control the fuel loaded tanker it reversed and ran into a vehicle and exploded and damage five buses, two trucks, a tricycle and 45 cars were burnt out.Those present at the scene included the police, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Lagos State Fire Service, Ambulance Service,Lagos State Traffic Management Authority.
